Hokkaido Exploration-Asahikawa June 2014 Part 3

Woke up very early this morning as we planned to visit the 2 famous waterfalls at Sounkyo Gorge namely Ginga Falls (Milky Way Falls) and Ryusei Falls (Shooting Star Falls) followed by Takinoue Pink Moss Park and Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park,

There are quite a number of waterfalls among the 2 famous falls as featured in this map.

There is this warning sign to caution travelers about wild bears and another stated that it takes about 20 minutes to go up the stairs and guess what?  We were simply too lazy :X

Finally reached Takinoue Pink Moss Park after like about 2 to 3 hours drive? BUT there was not a single soul around! The carpark is soooooo empty and the ticket booth was also not operating! WTH the whole place is green  ))))):

The only consolation was the view up here.

Spotted this cute looking noodle house on the way to Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park and decided to have our late lunch here before it closes at 3 pm.

Oh NO!!! I am putting more weights by the day

OMG! Not again! This place was also as deserted as Takinoue Pink Moss Park!!!

WTH! All the tulip has already been harvested!!!!!!!!!!!

Haizzzzz sigh pie we were too early for the pink moss but too late for the tulip? Sadddddd

After strolling the empty park for a while, we called it a day as we have a long journey back to our hotel!

One of my favourite hokkaido food, cream puffs !!!

One slice wasn't enough for my dad, so he decided to buy a whole melon

Sweet and Soft, more for me please.....

Forgot to take any photo of our dinner thus cannot remember where we ate lol but only the supper  :X
